The deadline for sports news is midday on the Monday prior to publication, unless you have arranged to send news later than that (if, for example, the event is on Tuesday morning).
Please send us photographs of your event and we will consider them for publication. Please leave the photographs at their original size; if necessary send more than one email. Make sure you include a caption with the names of any people in the photograph.

Coromandel Peninsula Post styles
The Coromandel Peninsula Post has styles for its editorial. If you follow these guides, you will make it much easier for us to format your copy.
Date style is
January 1, 2010 (not 1 January, 1st January, January the 1st). If you use the current year, it is likely we will edit that out.
In general do not use people's titles in the copy. Name style is
Peter Smith (not Mr Smith, Mr P Smith, Mr Peter Smith).
Please do not format copy using tabs; if there are long lists of results it takes us a long time to remove them.
Results should be formatted as follows:
Name score place semicolon
Peter Smith 28 1;
Our general rule is to include the first three placings.
